Sports Reillustrated will host their inaugural event ‘Sports Reillustrated Present Rematch of the Day: It’s Coming Home to June 18th, 1996’ event across two floors at The Dome and Boston Music Room in Tufnell Park.

Fans will be taken back to the blue-sky day of June 18th 1996 and those moments where it felt like football really was (ALMOST) coming home. Celebrating the magic of that day on the pitch is a given, but amidst the goals and the glory will be everything else that evokes THOSE memories of ’96.

From the music of the tournament (with spectacular DJs and special guests bringing the hits) to the food, drink, shirts, pop culture, games, shows, décor and the feel great ambience of the time. Our aim is simple! We’re inviting you to savour the spirit of ’96… And everything that made it SO good.

Sports Reillustrated was formed by two lifelong friends and long-suffering Coventry City fans - Jack and Chris. Its aim is to turn the clock back to some of the most glorious sporting events of years gone by. Not content with just showing the heroics on the pitch, the S.R. team are leaving no stone unturned in offering fans an immersive experience, reimagining some of the greatest days and sporting moments in history.
